Meet Caterina

Greetings! Typically conversations flow and thoughts are shared when girlfriends gather together for a glass of wine, Cosmopolitan or Margarita. I call this "Share Deep Time!" Chatting over a hot cup of tea or sipping S.Pelligrino on ice has the same effect, because what truly matters is the special time spent among friends. So, consider this your virtual Happy Hour with me!

I have been married to my best friend for nearly 30 years and he and I have raised two wonderful boys. I write a newspaper community column and in doing so, have met some incredible people over the years. I enjoy cooking for family and friends, which at times seems like a crowd, but a welcome bunch, nonetheless. A passion for all things vintage, I peruse local Hospice shops and other consignment type boutiques, often bumping into folks I know. Having recently hit the big Five Oh, one of my goals was to begin a blog, which I am just now getting around to, but better months later than never!

As my blog develops, you can expect to find some life lessons I've learned along the way and will perhaps share some extended thoughts on my newspaper column. Mix in a favorite recipe or two and shake or stir in a fabulous find for the home!  So, pull up a comfy chair, pour a drink and join me!
